Three Peaks Challenge - our team completed it!

Three Peaks ChallengeOver the weekend of September 17th and 18th 2011 Dean Harris, Natalie Hopkins, David Arscott, Ken West, Sindy Trivett and Francesca Alford took on the National Three Peaks Challenge. This involved climbing the three highest peaks across the UK and is often described as one of the UK’s ultimate challenges. The mountains climbed were Ben Nevis 1,344 metres (4,409ft) in Western Scotland, Scafell Pike 978 metres(3,209ft) in North-Western England and Snowdon 1,085 metres (3,560ft) in North Wales. The total distance climbed was approximately 26miles, with the distance covered between the mountains being some 450 miles.

They successfully completed the challenge and as of October 2011 they have raised in excess of £4,000 however, please continue to donate at:

Annual Golf Day 2011

Once again the Ballam Annual Golf Day was a great success. This year it took place on 3 June at the usual venue, Langley Park Golf Course. Once again a good sum of money was raised and the final amount it currently being calculated. Visit again for the final total!
